I love doing pour shots. While a subset of beverage photography, they’re very exacting. While you can get pour and splash shot hand held, you get a lot more control when you lock down your camera on a tripod. The trick is to keep your camera still while you shoot different aspects. For this image, it is really 3 different images brought together in Photoshop. The bottle, the pour and the glass all required their own shot for the whole image to come together the way I wanted it.
