Some drinks represent a place. Like the Sazerac with New Orleans, the Cosmo and New York and the Mint Julep with Kentucky, specifically the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. In making the photograph for this drink, I didn’t want to rely on the standard troupes and make another Derby related photo.
