Rise Together, an outstanding Red Ale from Backward Flag Brewing Company in New Jersey. They’re veteran owned and woman owned.
Cabernet Sauvignon from Mercer Brothers
Cab Sav from Mercer Bros. The aroma reminded me of warm spices a brown sugar. Very nice! The image was created with 3 lights, two in strip boxes with additional diffusion down the sides and one snorted for the label. Cheers Everyone!
Good Morning!
My morning cannot start without a cup of coffee. OK, I’m lying…two or three cups of coffee is what it really takes. Morning light behind the cup makes for a great photograph. A little steamed milk and cinnamon make for a great cup of coffee.
Working Hard
I was working hard on a photograph edit in Photoshop. Then I had a Hacksensack Lager from The Alementary Brewing Company.
Drinking for Science
Drinking for Science with The Alementary Brewing. I had the opportunity to photograph a brew day. Next time you crack a beer pause a moment to think of all that goes in to making it. It is a science and an art.
The Alementary - A-Game
No matter what you do, make photographs, play guitar, brew beer or climb mountains, always bring your A-Game. If it is worth doing it is worth bringing your best to it. Pour your passion in to it. Cheers!
The Alementary - Order of the Atom
I’ve had a the opportunity to spend a few days working with The Alementary Brewing Company in Hackensack New Jersey recently. We’ve been doing all kinds of photography to market all the aspects of their brewery and to highlight their “Drinking for Science”. One of the features they have in the taproom is the “Order of the Atom”. When you become a member you get special access to the taproom, special beer no one else has access to, special events and this really great looking glass. This one is filled up with their “Low Earth Orbit” Stout. Cheers!!
Love on the rocks!
A couple of days ago I heard someone say “I love on the rocks”. They were referring to the way they like to take their scotch, but it brought me back to being a kid. No I wasn’t drinking scotch on the rocks when I was a kid. My mother loved Neil Diamond. She played his music all the time at home. So be sheer osmosis, I know the words to almost everything song of his. Funny thing is, after all this time the lyrics stick with me. There are pieces of yesterday I cannot remember, but I can remember “Love on the rocks. Ain’t no big surprise. Just pour me a drink and I will tell you some lies.” From the Neil Diamond song, Love on the Rock’s. Go listen to it. You’re welcome.
Acrylic Ink
Since I spend most of my time photographing liquids of one form or another, I thought I’d change it up during some down time I had during the holidays with some ink. Drops of acrylic ink, two different colors this time around, in to a clear fish tank full of water. Click the shutter and then have a good time in Photoshop with backgrounds and textures. This is the second one I’ve tried. They’re just for fun and to see what I can make.
